Tomtom Spark Cardio + Music Inside Scoop
The TomTom Spark Cardio is a great multi-sport cardio watch. It will do everything from tracking your run, biking, swimming, calories burned, and heart rate.
With the TomTom Cardio + Music, you can bring your workouts to the next level by gaining some motivation off your favorite songs. You can store up to 500 songs on your TomTom and create playlists whether it be for stretching, running, or biking.
It syncs easily with iTunes without a problem. You have everything you need for a great workout right on your wrist.
You don’t have to drag your phone around anymore to play music, just connect your wireless headphones to your TomTom and you are handsfree.
When it comes to battery life, it could last up to 6+ days on just the watch mode but depending on how much you listen to your music and use the GPS it could sometimes need a good charging after 6 hours.
When it comes to tracking your runs this watch is great! It will give you everything from your run time, distance, speed, calories burned, and my favorite your pace.
With all these features it is easy to set yourself up for some great improvement. You can save all your stats and set up goals to get better everyday that goes by.
Pace for me is important because in the Army, everyone runs different and I need that feature to help me track how fast my guys run so I can help them push to the next level.
It usually takes the GPS on my TomTom about 30 seconds to find where I am and start my tracking, not too long if you have some patience.
When it comes to running on treadmills this watch is great for that, just calibrate your TomTom and it will give you accurate readings.
Everyday Use For The TomTom Spark
The TomTom Spark is great because it keeps you updated with how many steps you take in a day, how many calories you burned throughout your day, and even tracks your sleep throughout the night.
The TomTom sleep mode isn’t that great though, it just gives you the basics, like the amount of hours you slept. It doesn’t go in depth like how many times you woke up in the night or how many good hours of sleep you got.
With the TomTom Spark Cardio it has a built in heart rate monitor as well that is proven to be accurate. I have some medic friends in the military that tested it out for me and the results were great.
With that being said you don’t have to spend extra money on a heart rate monitor strap that is uncomfortable and pricey.
The TomTom Spark is waterproof up to 40 m/ 130 feet (5 ATM). For the swimming mode I’ve been using it in the pool when I swim laps and it’s great. Another great feature the TomTom Spark has.
I recommend not to take this on a deep diving adventure though, the pressure will break your TomTom.
This is a really great fitness tracker and if your looking for one that isn’t too much on the pocket but gives you great results, give this one a try and you won’t be disapointed.
